ILLUSTRATION + PRINT SHOW
SEP: 26 + 27 | 11AM-5PM
ABNEY HALL | LONDON N16
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our Illustration + Print Show is back! Following our first edition earlier this year, we’re returning to Abney Hall in Stoke Newington with another laid-back, vibesy celebration of brilliant independent illustrators, artists + printmakers from across London + the UK.
We’ve invited a carefully curated mix of emerging + established artists working across all sorts of disciplines. Expect art prints + original illustrations, alongside tattoo flash, fibre art + ceramics; cards + stationery; zines, comics + artist books – plus plenty more.
There’ll be work across screenprint, risograph, digital + hand-drawn techniques, from playful, bold graphic prints to limited editions + beautifully detailed originals. Whether you’re looking for affordable art, a thoughtful gift, something excellent for your walls or doing a li'l looking just for yourself, there’ll be loads to discover ✨
MEET THE ARTISTS BEHIND THE WORK
As always, a huge part of the experience is getting to meet the artists + printmakers behind what you’re buying.
Have a chat about what inspired a piece, find out how it was made + discover artists you might never otherwise have come across. There’s something pretty special about taking an artwork home when you’ve actually met the person who created it – and every purchase helps support independent artists + London's creative small businesses.
COME HUNGRY + THIRSTY
All that browsing requires fuel, so we’ll have brilliant independent food + drink on hand throughout the weekend.
Our Pierogi Queen, Margot, will be back serving up what we continue to maintain are some of London’s BEST pierogi, with more food + drink details to be announced.
MAKE A DAY OF IT IN STOKE NEWINGTON
While you’re here, make a proper day of it in Stoke Newington. Church Street is packed with brilliant independent places for brunch, lunch + coffee – Spence Bakery + 13th Floor Coffee are firm favourites – and Clissold Park is just a short stroll away.
Directly opposite Abney Hall is Abney Park Cemetery, one of London’s Magnificent Seven garden cemeteries and now a woodland memorial park + Local Nature Reserve – ideal for a wander before or after the show.
Illustration + print + pierogi + a wander around Stokey. Sounds like a pretty excellent September weekend to us ✨
