ABOUT US

Designated one of London’s six only Creative Enterprise Zones, South Tottenham – in north London’s Borough of Haringey – is one of the city’s last hidden creative quarters.

Over the last 20 years, several warehouse complexes around Manor House/South Tottenham (N4) – once used for industry + commerce – have been inhabited by artists, designer-makers, performers + others pursuing their creative bent. These spaces are utilised either as live-work art studios + workshops or simply as somewhere for creative-leaning people to live while being surrounded by a community of like-minded people.

As a result, the Harringay Warehouse District has evolved + a thriving artist community exists here, filled with creative individuals who have sought to live in an environment that supports + facilitates what they do.

North London Makers’ Market is a community-led art market event that aims to bring N4’s creative warehouse communities together in one space + connect the people in them not only with each other but also with residents + small businesses around wider Haringey.

See our Events page for info on our next London art market, where you can support local makers + buy independent: ceramics, illustration, print, clothing, jewellery, original art + much more besides.

If you’d like to exhibit + sell your work, perform music or participate in our events in any other way, we’d love to hear from you – and note that while our event was founded to support our local artists, we invite people from anywhere in London + beyond to participate.

We aim always to craft fair + affordable events for artist-makers + visitors alike AND be one of the best markets to visit in London. Want to know more? Find out about our ethos.
