OUR EVENT THEMES
CERAMICISTS’ MART
Handmade ceramic work by independent ceramic artists, designer-makers + potters working with fired clay, including functional tableware, vessels, decorative objects, sculptural pieces + jewellery.
We also love to feature ceramicists, studios or facilitators offering live activations such as wheel-throwing demos or mini workshops offering clay hand-building, or ceramic painting... And of course, if you have other ideas, just shout!
ILLUSTRATION + PRINT SHOW
All artist-led drawing-based work across illustration + printmaking in all its forms is welcome here. Think art prints + original drawings; relief, intaglio, planographic + stencil printing; tattoo, fibre art, knitwear + ceramics; photography + digital art; collage; zines, comics + artist books; apparel, merch + more.
We’re super keen to work with artists offering live activations such as portrait drawing + tattoo flash services; mini drawing/printing/zine-making workshops, etc. – all relevant ideas outside these examples are also more than welcome!
INDIE JEWELLERS’ MARKET
Contemporary jewellery by practising jewellers, using precious + semi-precious metals + gemstones. We also welcome ceramic jewellery + interesting costume/sculptural jewellery made out of materials other than the above. Overall, we'll be mindful of provenance, skill + price point when selecting exhibitors.
We're also especially keen to work with jewellers offering live activations relevant to this event's theme – think stuff like permanent jewellery, on-the-spot engraving, bespoke charm-building etc. – all ideas welcome!
SLOW FASHION FESTIVAL
Small batch clothing + accessories by independent designer-makers + boutique brands producing everything from machine- and hand-made garms + knitwear to accessories like hats, bags, bonnets, charms, scarves, belts, eyewear, etc. etc. – basically, if it's wearable, we'd love to hear from you.
We'd also love to hear from jewellers who create both demi-fine/fine + fashion/costume jewellery, as well as independent skincare brands formulating in small batches.
We particularly welcome live activations too – everything from mini workshops + demos around sewing/knitting/construction techniques, upcycling + natural skincare/wellness, to interactive experiences such as a visible mending bar or garment customisation station; nail art, tooth gem + henna decoration services; fashion illustration-led portraits + cute witchy stuff like tarot reading, ritual etc. Any relevant ideas outside of these examples are also super welcome!
ART + DESIGN MARKET
This is a multidisciplinary event, so artist- and designer-led work across all the above areas (ceramics, illustration/print, jewellery, slow fashion + knitwear) is very welcome!
Creatives offering live activations such as live drawing/portraiture, customisation, demos or mini workshops are also most welcome – anything fun + creative goes!
