Join us for our much-loved Ceramicists’ Mart, returning to our home East London venue at Abney Hall on Stoke Newington Church Street, where more than 60 talented ceramic artists + potters will be showcasing a magnificent selection of their latest artworks.
Expect a SUPER STUNNING mix of unique functional homewares, wearable ceramic art, sculptural pieces + more – just the thing if you’re on the lookout for thoughtful gifts, one-of-a-kind conversation pieces or something special for your home. Every piece is crafted by emerging + established independent ceramicists, potters + studio collectives from across London + the UK.
We’ll be bringing together a vibrant community of artists + designer-makers offering everything from handcrafted kitchenware (think bowls, plates, massive mugs + espresso cups; platters, butter dishes, oil bottles + more) to wall art + mantlepiece sculptures; giant jugs + plant pots; trinket trays, ceramic jewellery + charms; fonts, shrines + LOADS more.
Browse slowly, take it all in + have a proper chat with the makers behind the pieces you love – it’s a HUGE part of the vibesy, welcoming atmosphere our community-focused events are known for. Expect inspiring conversations, meaningful connections + the fab feels that come along with supportting local artists + small businesses.
As always, be sure to come hungry + thirsty, because our resident Pierogi Queen will be serving up THE best Pierogi this city has to offer (not even joking), alongside the most incredible small batch tea creations by our also-resident Quarter Cup Tea Co. cuties.
Make a day of it in Stokey – Church Street is packed with brilliant brunch + coffee spots (Spence Bakery + 13th Floor Coffee are firm favourites). For green space, wander through beautiful Clissold Park with its goats, birds + fallow deer, or step straight across the road to Abney Park Cemetery, one of London’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ garden cemeteries, now a woodland memorial park + Local Nature Reserve – ideal for a super zen tree bath before or after your visit ✨
