We’re bringing a festive edition of N4 Makers’ Market back to Stoke Newington this Christmas, taking over Abney Hall on Church Street with 65+ brilliant independent artists + designer-makers.
If you’re looking for Christmas gifts with a li’l more personality, we got you. You’ll discover everything from art prints + original artwork to ceramics + homewares, jewellery, slow fashion + plenty more – all carefully curated from independent creative businesses.
Expect affordable gifts, one-of-a-kind finds + those where-did-you-get-that? pieces you’re never going to stumble upon on the high street. And even better, our events give you the opportunity to meet the makers behind what you’re buying, hear the stories behind their work + spend your Christmas shopping money supporting independent small businesses.
As always, we want our Stoke Newington market to be about more than just ‘shopping’. Come visit us for a browse, have an inspiring chat, discover someone new + leave feeling lit up – with some banging Christmas presents under your arm, too!
MAKE A DAY OF IT IN STOKE NEWINGTON
We’d defo recommend leaving yourself time to explore Stoke Newington Church Street while you’re here. There are loads of ace independent places for brunch, lunch + coffee – including Spence Bakery + 13th Floor Coffee (our faves) – so it’s very easy to turn your trip to the market into a proper Stokey day out.
You’ve also got Clissold Park nearby, complete with goats, birds + its little herd of fallow deer. And directly opposite Abney Hall is the magical Abney Park Cemetery – one of London’s Magnificent Seven garden cemeteries, now a woodland memorial park + Local Nature Reserve.
Market + Christmas shopping + lunch + woodland wander = a pretty excellent December mooch day!
