The first of two beautifully curated seconds + sample sale events in Feb 2025… Easing us all into the new year with a huge selection of affordable art + design from local independent artists + designer-makers.
Across two whole days our cohort of creatives will be selling all manner of items at discounted prices to suit all budgets, including one-off, never-to-be-made-again trial, test + sample pieces; slightly imperfect (but still stunning) seconds; and current pieces + collections offering generous redulctions.
Have a chat with the talented characters behind the art + design you buy to experience fun + memorable human connections; and come away feeling inspired... All while buying local + supporting creative small businesses.
Hot food will be available both days – save space for Margot's famous brisket pierogi when you visit (these are going to be the talk of the town in 2025, guaranteed!!) – if you're vegan go for her smoked tofu + kimchi option, or if your veggie try her classic potato + cheese filling.
Plan to make a day of it around Stokey – there are loads of lovely eateries along Church St for brunch/lunch/picnic food, as well as the beautiful Clissold Park + its collection of birds, goats + fallow deer. The iconic Abney Park Cemetery – one of London's ‘Magnificent Seven’ garden cemeteries + a woodland memorial park + Local Nature Reserve – is right across the road, too.
